Dua Lipa was born on 22nd August, 1995 in London United Kingdom. The singer-songwriter signed with Warner Bros Records in 2014 after she was a model and released her self-titled debut album in 2017. The album peaked at third place at the top of the U.K. charts for albums and included eight songs, with the most notable being U.K. top ten hit track New Rules and Be the One I.D.G.A.F. Lipa received her Brit Awards in 2018 for British Female Solo Artist as well as British Breakthrough Act and her album was certified platinum across the globe in a variety of countries. Dua Lipa was conceived by London by Kosovo Albanian parents Anesa rexha (mother) and Dukagjin Lilipa (father). Her parents are of Bosnian origin by her mother's grandmother. Her ancestors are also tracked back to Peja, the Kosovo town of Peja. Her grandfathers were historians as well. Her siblings are Rina as well as Gjin. Lipa was influenced musically by her father, who is also the lead musician and vocalist for Oda. Kosovan the group Oda.
