Simone Biles
Simone Biles was an American gymnast who was born on March 14, 1997 in the city of Columbus, Ohio. She is considered by many to be among the top athletes. At the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals in the same Games and she was the first gymnast to win three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles was raised within Spring Texas in the Houston metropolitan area following the time her and her sister Adria were adopted by their parents Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone began to take the sport of gymnastics seriously as when she was six years old on a field trip to school to Bannon Gymnastix. Aimee Borman was her coach throughout the next eleven years. Biles received a silver medal for vaulting, as well as a gold medal on the floor at the 2010 Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. In 2011, she began playing in elite levels of gymnastics competition. She dominated her sport less than two year later. What set Biles out was her consistency her fun-loving personality, and the high degree of difficulty she incorporated into her workout routines for every event - vault, uneven bars balance beam and floor exercises.
