Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts, born October 28, 1967 at Atlanta in the United States to Betty Lou Bredemus & Walter Grady Roberts. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer, was the first Roberts to move to Atlanta. Her father was interested in theatre since a young stage. In 1952, while studying at Emory University, he performed on stage in a number of shows in Atlanta. While stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he was inducted into the air force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was part of the show as well. The two married in 1955 and their first child Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter was a student at Tulane University at New Orleans, Louisiana in 1957 after the couple left the Air Force of the United States. Walter started working at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of a local Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. In 1964 Walter and Betty Lou founded the Actors and Writers Workshop. It lasted for six years. In the meantime, they had two more youngsters Lelisa (called Lisa) Billingsley in the year 1965, and Julia (called Julie) in 1967.
