Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast journalist. She is most well-known for anchoring the CNN morning program At This Hour, Bolduan is an American journalist on the broadcast. She co-anchored CNN's weekday morning shows New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan is also part of CNN's prestigious presidential election coverage from 2012. She has also served as a congressional correspondent based in Washington DC covering the activities of the US House and the senate. Bolduan has covered legislative and congressional events, such as discussions on raising the ceiling on federal debt and super committee discussions. Her general assignment work has included reporting about The Christmas Day Bombing, Obamacare's Supreme Court Decision and implementation of the government's stimulus plan in 2009. She began working for CNN Newsource in the year 2007. She was an CNN Newsource national correspondent, providing breaking news and feature reporting to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations. The stations she worked for were NBC News, MSNBC, as well as WTVD-TV. Her current home is living in New York City together with her husband, two kids and two grandchildren.
