Jennifer Tilly
Jennifer Tilly, an American-Canadian actor, poker player and actress and poker prodigy, who was nominated for the highly coveted 'Academy Award' she is among the nominees. The daughter of a native from Los Angeles, US, Tilly first made an appearance on stage in 1983 on the series 'Oh Madeline,' where she essayed an unimportant role. Then, in 1984, Tilly made her first appearance in the film "No small affair." Since then, she's been unstoppable and is seen in numerous projects every year. She had a fine start with her acting career. The beginning days of her career, she was part of popular series such as 'Hill Street Blues,' 'Cheers,' and "Frasier.' Although she mostly had minor roles, it was much more than what a rookie actor could have expected. Her big break came when she appeared in the film of Woody Allen, 'Bullets Over Broadway'', which led to being nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress.
